Our
females are our forte. We have worked for eight years to develop the best possible
set of production females. These ewes are all home bred females out of selected
rams for production values. We have sold the bottom 1/3 of our ewe flock every
year as well as limited greatly the number of ewe lambs or yearling that we sold
off the farm.This has allowed us
to accomplish this goal.If you
want production females, call us today to reserve a pick of quality brood ewes,
yearlings, or ewe lambs.

here is one set of brood ewes on fall cornstalk fields. These ewes are stout,
correct and excellent mothers. Most of these females are under 5 years old.
These ewes were bred on the farm and have stayed in the program because they
have produced well. Many are daughters of the rams pictured below.

here are the yearling ewes that are “20” daughters. These ewes are bred to
CHARLIE and REBEL for early January. These yearling ewes lambed as ewe lambs and
we consider them to be our next GREAT set of females.

to the left are the 1999 ewe lambs, sired by “20”, Midnight (Panda son) and
HUSKER. One unique element of our program is that we have ewe lambs cycle
naturally for January and February lambs. They frequently lamb before they are
one year old!! These ewe lambs are bred to “20”, REBEL, TRAVELLER, and TOUGH
BOY.
